Find and Replace in Xmind

Find and Replace helps you locate specific text across your map and update it quickly. Use it to correct names, update terms, or standardize phrasing without editing each topic manually.

Open the Find and Replace dialog, enter the text to find and the replacement, then choose the scope and confirm. You can match whole words or case, and apply changes to the current branch, selected topics, or the entire map. You can step through matches one by one or replace all at once.

• Open the Edit menu or press the keyboard shortcut to launch Find and Replace.

• Enter search text, enter replacement text, then preview matches before applying.

• Select scope: current topic, branch, or whole map; toggle Match Case or Whole Word if needed.

Use Find and Replace to save time when making repetitive edits or correcting consistent errors across your map. It is best for bulk updates and keeping labels consistent.
