Map Shot Your Mind Map in Xmind — Tutorial
Map Shot in Xmind
Map Shot captures a selected area of your mind map as an image you can save or share. It is useful when you want to export part of a complex map without exporting the entire canvas. Use Map Shot to focus on specific branches.
To use Map Shot, open your map, switch to the frame tool, and drag a frame around the nodes you want to capture. Adjust the frame size and position until the selection looks right, then take the shot to create an image of that area.
Drag the frame over branches you want to export.
Resize or move the frame before capturing for precise results.
Save the shot as an image or paste it into other documents.
Map Shot simplifies sharing and documenting parts of a map. It is best for presentations, handouts, or saving focused views during brainstorming. Use it to keep exports tidy and relevant to your audience.
