XMind: ZEN Makes Your Mind Map Move and Dance
Anne
One important principle of mind mapping is: use pictures. As the core element of the mind map, pictures stimulate visual perception, trigger associations, strengthen creative thinking and effectively improve memory. So, what magic will it create when mind map encounters dynamic images?
First, let’s enjoy some mind maps from our users.
@Joe: 8 exercises to get in shape without equipment

@Mr. Wong: Japanese stroke order

@Sabrina: Solar detectors

The evolution of events (e.g. the invention of fire, human evolution);
Movement breakdown (Yoga step-by-step breakdown, interpretation of the 8 gestures of traffic police);
Operation flowchart and etc.
4 steps to make a dynamic mind map
1/ Create a mind map
Launch XMind: ZEN and choose a theme.

The mind map of Joe for example, choose Horizontal Timeline. Here in XMind, we have 14 structures for you to choose.

Select a main topic and click Insert > Local Image. Or simply drag and drop the image to the target topic.

Topic in the mind map with horizontal timeline structure have border. To beautify the mind map, you can choose “No Border“ for the topic after you inserting an animated GIF.
