This release brings a foundational upgrade to how you work in Xmind. The new Zone feature helps you focus on specific parts of a map without losing the bigger picture. Project planning also becomes smoother with Skip Non-working Days and a more fluid Gantt Chart experience.

Major Updates

Zone (Desktop, iOS, Web)

Zones let you define and manage a specific area within a mind map independently. You can move, copy, reuse, or refine a group of content without affecting the rest of the map, making complex structures easier to handle. Zones also double as visual layout and export boundaries. What you see is exactly what you print or export.

Skip Non-working Days (Desktop, Web, Android)

You can customize working days, holidays, and special exceptions for different regions, industries, or teams, and apply shared working-day templates across projects. Plan your project timelines based on how your team actually works, helping avoid misleading schedules and unrealistic deadlines.

Enhanced Gantt Chart (Desktop & Web)

Instead of constantly switching between dates, durations, and dependencies, you can now plan tasks in one continuous flow and let the Gantt Chart follow along. Just define a start point and task durations. The system automatically calculates start and end dates.

Pitch Video (iOS & Web)

Pitch Video helps you quickly turn a mind map into a clear presentation video. AI automatically organizes content based on your idea and time limit, deciding what to highlight and how to pace it. This makes it easier to explain concepts, share proposals, or present ideas without manually building slides.

Make Image (Web)

You can now generate vibrant stickers that perfectly match your topics directly within your mind map—no need to switch tools. AI understands your ideas and helps turn them into effective image-generation prompts. You can further fine-tune these prompts and switch between different image models and preset styles to fit your preferences.

• Gantt Charts can be exported as PNG, JPEG, and PDF.

• Print support for Gantt Charts.

• You can now quickly edit start dates and durations directly in Gantt Charts.

• AI “Bold” Rendering — “Bold tags” in AI-generated content now automatically convert to real bold formatting, saving you from manual formatting.

• Mapify Integration — Mapify content can now be saved to Xmind and opened directly with one click.

• Internet Search in Ideas — Added internet search capabilities to Create / Grow Ideas to broaden your sources of inspiration.

• Copilot Upgrades — The input box now auto-activates when opening Copilot, and drag-and-drop for attachments is smoother.

• Widget Page 2.0 — Capability interfaces are now ready.

• Editor Toolbar — Added text labels for clarity and included View options.

Improvements

• Higher Attachment Limits — The attachment size limit has been increased from 20MB to 50MB.

• Visual Polish — Unified text link hover styles; all clickable elements now show a “hand” icon on hover.

• Interaction Flow — The editor right-click menu now triggers more naturally, and popups automatically focus on input boxes.

• Space & Recent — The Space creation and invitation flow is smoother. “My Works → Recent” now has a more reasonable default landing position.

• Fixed issues where Google Drive / Dropbox binding and unbinding failed.

• Restored the missing over-limit hint bar code.

• Fixed a UI issue where the cursor behaved abnormally when Adding Comment.

• Resolved an issue in the Task Panel where the selector slid off and couldn’t be closed with Esc.

• Fixed an issue where right-clicking Topic text did not trigger “Explain”.

• Fixed an issue where the cursor did not auto-activate when inserting/editing Labels.

• Fixed the missing Space switch entry in “Copilot recently”.

More reliable import and export with improved handling of tables, text styles, lists, and more.
