Task Tracker in Xmind

The Task Tracker lets you add, monitor, and filter tasks inside a mind map. Use it to turn topics into actionable items and see overall progress without leaving your map.

To use the Task Tracker, select one or multiple topics and choose Insert then Task or right-click and add tasks. Add a main task tracker on a parent topic to aggregate subtask progress, and mark items completed as you finish them.

  • Insert tasks: select a topic, click Insert then Task, or right-click to add tasks to multiple topics.

  • Track progress: add a tracker to the parent topic and check subtasks to update overall progress.

  • Manage tasks: right-click to mark as canceled or delete; use Command/Control F or right-click the task icon to filter and highlight unfinished items.

The Task Tracker in Xmind helps keep work visible and focused by grouping tasks in your map and letting you filter unfinished items. Use it for project checklists, meeting notes, or personal to-dos to stay organized without extra tools.
