Xmind Gantt Chart — Plan with Mind Maps & Track Tasks

Oct 16, 2025

Gantt Chart in Xmind

Use the Gantt Chart in Xmind to turn a mind map into a live project timeline. It shows tasks as bars with start and end dates, dependencies, and progress so you can plan and track in one place. It is ideal for turning ideas into executable plans.

Switch between mind map and Gantt Chart with one click; all updates stay synced so edits in either view update the other. Drag bars to reschedule, double-click to edit details, and set dependencies to link task timing. You can adjust priority and progress per task to reflect status.

  • Generate tasks from your mind map or use AI work breakdown to create a project outline.

  • Open View, choose Gantt Chart, or click the toolbar Gantt icon to see tasks and timeline.

  • Drag bars to change dates, mark progress, edit details, and set dependencies that auto-update related tasks.

The Gantt Chart in Xmind keeps timelines and mind maps aligned, removing manual updates and reducing scheduling errors. Use it to manage single projects or several plans without leaving your mind map.
