Beginning with version 26.02, Xmind introduced a foundational upgrade to enhance scalability and enable upcoming features such as Zone. As part of this upgrade, the file format was updated.

Because of these changes:

• Files created in Xmind 26.02 or later are not compatible with earlier versions of Xmind.

• To open and edit these files, you must use Xmind version 26.02 or later.

For the best performance and access to the latest features, we recommend updating to the most recent version of Xmind.
