Map Refine in Xmind

Map Refine helps you expand and clarify incomplete maps by suggesting new branches and details across your entire mind map. It is designed to turn rough outlines into fuller, more organized maps so you can move past writer's block or planning gaps.

To use Map Refine, select a branch that needs more content and open the Xmind AI options. Click Map Refine and choose Auto to expand the branch instantly, or choose On Demand to review each suggestion before it is added. Map Refine grows ideas across connected branches, not just the single node you picked.

• Select any branch that feels thin or vague.

• Click Map Refine, then choose Auto to quickly generate nodes.

• Pick On Demand to accept or refine individual suggestions and keep control.

Map Refine is best when you are stuck or exploring a new topic and need to flesh out structure quickly. Use it to jumpstart brainstorming, fill gaps, and produce a clearer, more complete mind map.
