Pitch Mode in Xmind

Pitch Mode lets you turn a mind map into a slide-style presentation with automatic animations and layouts. Use it to present topics, control slide previews, and adjust how subtopics appear without rebuilding slides manually.

Enter Pitch Mode from the top-right button or shortcut. Use the toolbar to change aspect ratio, animation, and watermark, and press ? to view shortcuts. Use the on-screen controls to move between slides, skip branches, or return to parent topics.

• Select a topic and open the Format panel to see its slide preview. You can place topic images (top, bottom, left, right, back) and toggle whether the topic generates its own overview slide.

• Set subtopics display to Visible or Hidden. Visible creates an overview slide listing subtopics; Hidden shows each subtopic independently.

• Choose delivery: Drill in (one subtopic at a time), All at once, or One by one then drill for detailed walkthroughs. Layout options include brace, list, bullet list, and lyrics.

Pitch Mode is ideal for quickly converting maps into polished presentations while keeping the map structure intact. Adjust previews and delivery to match your speaking pace and emphasize key branches.
