Print Maps in Xmind

Use the print feature to create paper or PDF copies of your mind maps. Printing in Xmind lets you output a whole map, selected branches, or a simplified view without hidden details.

Open File > Print and choose printer settings. Select Fit Page to scale the whole map to a single A4 sheet; Actual Size preserves map scale but may cut large maps. To print a branch, right-click a topic and choose Show Branch Only, then print the current map. You can also hide detailed branches or keep background color to adjust the printed layout.

• Print the whole workbook or only the current map; use Fit Page for single-page handouts.

• Print a branch by right-clicking its topic, selecting Show Branch Only, then using File > Print.

• Control appearance by hiding detailed branches or toggling background color before printing.

Printing in Xmind makes maps easy to share in meetings, make study flashcards, or review ideas on paper. Choose Fit Page for compact handouts and Show Branch Only when you need focused prints.
