Create a Mood Tracker with Xmind
Jan 21, 2021
At a Glance
Build a weekly or monthly mood tracker to visualize ups and downs and manage mental health. Use Xmind’s Matrix structure and stickers to map seven days and five mood categories, then log activities and reasons.
Quick Steps
Open Xmind and insert a Matrix structure as your tracker canvas.
Create seven columns labeled Monday to Sunday to represent each day.
Label rows with five mood categories (wonderful, feel great, I’m okay, kind of blue, miserable) and add stickers for quick recognition.
Add sub-topic boxes per day, type today’s activities and change the box fill color to reflect the mood.
Select all boxes and set a fixed width of 200 for a cleaner, consistent map.
Smart Tip
Update the tracker nightly and experiment with other built-in structures to re-theme the layout; consistent color coding plus fixed widths makes mood patterns and swings immediately visible.
