Quick Entry in Xmind

Quick Entry lets Mac users capture ideas quickly without opening a full mind map. Use Quick Entry to jot down thoughts, notes, or tasks and convert them into a mind map in seconds.

Open Quick Entry from the Xmind menu bar or add its icon to the shortcut bar for one-click access. A small window appears where you type your thoughts; click Create Mind Map to turn your notes into nodes and branches instantly.

• Open via the menu bar: Xmind > Open Quick Entry to launch the entry window.

• Add the Quick Entry icon to your shortcut bar for one-click access anytime.

• Type your idea and click Create Mind Map to import notes as a new mind map.
