Why am I still asked to pay after upgrading to Pro/Premium/Business?

Xmind offers three different plans, each designed for specific use scenarios:

  • Xmind Pro — For local files

  • Xmind Premium — For personal cloud usage in My Works

  • Xmind Business — For team collaboration within Team Space

If certain features remain locked even after purchasing a subscription, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

Confirm Which Plan You Purchased

  1. Log in to your account at app.xmind.com

  2. Go to My Works / Team Name → Settings → Plans

  3. Review your active plan and check the corresponding usage rules below:

If You Are Using Xmind Pro

  • Xmind Pro unlocks Pro features for local files.

  • If you upload your mind maps to My Works or Team Space, some online features will remain locked.

  • To use all Pro features, download the file to your device and edit it locally.

If You Are Using Xmind Premium

  • Premium unlocks full online features in My Works and local files.

  • If you are editing files inside a Team Space, some features may be restricted.

  • To access all Premium features, please make sure your files are created or uploaded in My Works, not in a Team Space.

Note: Team Spaces always follow the team’s plan, not the personal Premium plan.

If You Are Using Xmind Business

  • Full Business features apply inside your Team Space.

  • Files in My Works follow the Free Plan rules and will have limitations.

  • If you want a private space under the Business plan, you can create a sub-space within your Team Space.
