Fold/Unfold Subtopic

In Xmind, the "Fold/Unfold Subtopic" function allows you to manage the visibility of your mind map's subtopics. With a simple click, you can collapse subtopics to streamline your view or expand them to reveal detailed information. This feature enhances the readability and navigation of complex mind maps, making it easier to focus on specific sections or to maintain a clear overview.

Fold All Sub-Branches

  • Select the central topic and right-click to choose Fold all Sub-Branches.

Fold/Unfold Subtopic

This can be used when you just want to fold or unfold a certain topic instead of the whole branches.

Fold Subtopic

  • Hover over a topic to see a button, click on it to fold the subtopics.

Unfold Subtopic

  • If the topic has been folded, the number ofthe sub-topics will be displayed right beside the main topic, and you can unfold them by directly clicking on the number.

  • Select the folded topic and right-click to choose Unfold Subtopic.
