How to activate smart guideline
Activate Smart Guideline in Xmind App
1️⃣ Go to Xmind > Preferences to open the preferences panel; on Windows, click the hamburger menu in the toolbar's top-left corner > Preferences. Alternatively, use the shortcut Command + , (Mac) or Control + Shift + P (Windows).
2️⃣In the Preferences panel, navigate to Smart Guideline > Select Always Display to activate the feature.
Effect Preview
When you are editing, smart guidelines will automatically appear to help you align — making it easier to keep your map neat and structured.
Activate Smart Guideline in Xmind Web
Different with Xmind App, smart guidelines will automatically appear when editing in Xmind for Web, without the need of any settings.
