Style

In Xmind, "Styles" allow users to customize the visual attributes of their mind maps, including colors, fonts, shapes, and more. Adjusting styles not only enhances the visual appeal and attractiveness of mind maps but also improves the clarity and readability of information, effectively conveying thoughts and information.

How to Adjust Styles

Topic Styles

  1. Select a topic, then click the “Format” icon on the right side of the toolbar.

  2. In the “Shape” section, choose the topic shape, fill color, border style, and width. Xmind offers up to 31 different shapes to choose from.

  3. In the “Text” section, adjust the font style, size, and color. Notably, Xmind supports rich text editing, allowing for precise selection and adjustment of specific text styles.

  4. Modify the topic’s structure and branch style, including the appearance, color, thickness, and end style of the lines.

  5. Choose the Numbering style according to personal preference, and decide flexibly whether to apply it to all sibling topics for a personalized organization and presentation method.

Relationship Styles

  1. Click to select a Relationship, then in the format panel choose the line shape, start, and end styles. Xmind offers 4 shapes and up to 11 styles for line starts and ends for users to choose from.

  2. Adjust the line thickness and color.

  3. In the “Text” section, modify the relationship text’s font, text size, color, and other properties. Xmind supports rich text editing, allowing for style adjustments on selected parts of the relationship text.

Boundary Styles

  1. Click to select a Boundary, then in the format panel choose the shape, fill color, border lines, and styles. Xmind offers 9 shapes for users to choose from.

  2. In the “Text” section, modify the boundary text’s font, text size, color, and other properties. Xmind supports rich text editing, allowing for style adjustments on selected parts of the boundary text.

Summary Styles

  1. Click to select a Summary, then in the format panel choose the summary’s style, line thickness, and color.

  2. Directly modify the summary topic’s style, including shape, fill color, and other properties.

  3. In the “Text” section, modify the summary’s font, text size, color, and other properties.

  4. In the “Branch” section, modify the branch style, color, thickness, and end style of the lines.

Callout Styles

  1. Click to select a Callout, then in the format panel choose the shape, fill style, and color.

  2. In the “Text” section, modify the callout’s font, text size, color, and other properties. Xmind supports rich text editing, allowing for style adjustments on selected parts of the callout text.

Through these steps, users can flexibly customize the styles of mind maps in Xmind, making them more personalized and suited to their needs.
