Callout

Callouts are effective for incorporating supplementary text and annotating a topic in Xmind. More than just a shape, a callout serves as a helpful addendum to the topic.

Add Callout

Select the topic and click Callout in the top menu bar to add it.

Use a combination of customize shortcuts to add.

Note: Shortcuts can be customized in Preferences > Shortcut in the top menu bar.

Delete Callout

Select the callout and press the or Right Click > Delete.

Modify Callout Styles

Xmind supports callout customization, which allows you to enrich the style of it by editing shapes, colors, text and other elements.

Click on the callout and modify it in Style in the Format on the right.

Modify the shape of the callout. Rounded corners, ellipses, and rectangular bubble shapes are available.
Changing the fill color of the callout.
Font, color, size and other text styles of the callout description text.
You can also revert to the style that comes with the template by clicking Reset Style.
