Xmind Web Clipper

Xmind Web Clipper turns webpages into structured, editable mind maps directly from Chrome. Use it to quickly understand long articles, organize research, and save useful information in a format you can easily review and build on.

Install Xmind Web Clipper

1️⃣ Search Xmind Web Clipper page in the Chrome Web Store.

2️⃣ Click Add to Chrome.


3️⃣ Confirm the installation.

4️⃣ Pin Xmind Web Clipper to your Chrome toolbar for easier access.

5️⃣ Open the extension and sign in to your Xmind account.

Convert a Webpage to a Mind Map

1️⃣ Open the webpage you want to organize, Click the Xmind Web Clipper icon in the Chrome toolbar.


2️⃣ Choose a Summary Style:

  • Choose a Diagram Structure. (Optional) Xmind Web Clipper supports several structures, including:

  • Choose an Output Language. (Optional)

Click Convert to Mind Map.

Review and Save the Result

Once the conversion is complete, Xmind Web Clipper generates an outline for you to review.

You can then choose to:

  • Regenerate the outline if you want another result.

  • Save Locally as an .xmind file.

  • Save to Xmind Cloud.

When you save to Xmind Cloud, you will be taken to the generated mind map in Xmind, where you can continue editing and expanding it.
