Questions You May Ask

Label

Labels are excellent for categorization, allowing you to classify topics for explanation and organization. Labels can classify everything with common characteristics, making everything orderly.

Add/Delete Label

Add Label

  • Select the topic and insert label by choosing Label from the Insert button in the toolbar.

  • Select a topic, then click Label on Insert in the top menu bar to add it successfully.

Tips

  • Multiple labels can be added to a topic, separated by commas.

  • You can quickly add an existing label by clicking on it from the quick label selection area below the input box.

Delete Label

  • Click on the label, then the contents of the pop-up label window, or Right Click > Delete.

Click on the Label to pop up the input box and enter the label text editing state.

Enable Auto Sort

When a topic has multiple labels, they will be automatically arranged in alphabetical order.

Disable Auto Sort

Labels are arranged in the order they appear in the editing box.

Highlight Relevant Topics

Xmind supports highlighting all topics with a specific label, making other content semi-transparent. This feature helps users quickly focus on topics containing relevant labels in the mind map.

How to:

Right-click on the Label and select Highlight Related Topics to highlight topics with that label.
