Create mind maps with Xmind AI

On web

Go to Sidebar > Create with AI, or navigate to Create New > Create with AI.

On desktop app

Go to Sidebar > Create with AI to start.

On iOS

1️⃣ Open Xmind, then tap the AI icon to activate AI Lab on iOS.

2️⃣ Tap “↑” to start.

What you can do with Xmind AI

• Turn any text into a mind map: Input your ideas or notes, and Xmind AI will automatically generate them into a logical mind map.

• Summarize anything into mind maps: Paste a link, upload a file, or input a YouTube video URL—Xmind AI summarizes the key information into an organized mind map.

• Work Breakdown: Input your project description, choose Work Breakdown, and Xmind AI will instantly turn it into structured plans with detailed task breakdowns, priorities, and timelines.

• To-Do: Choose To-Do to generate short tasks—ideal for quick plans or simple to-do lists.

• Thinking: Select Thinking to explore ideas in depth and develop deeper insights. (*Thinking mode is currently available on Web only)

• Online Search: For time-sensitive tasks, the generated results incorporate the latest online information. You can click the links to open the original webpages and view details.

Combine Multiple Inputs

Xmind AI can understand and process different content types at the same time. Regardless of the mode you choose, you can include up to 1 file (≤50 MB on Desktop & Web, ≤20 MB on iOS) and up to 3 links along with text input in one generation. Xmind AI will integrate them into a cohesive, well-structured mind map.

Generator Settings

• Structure: Choose how you want to organize your ideas (e.g., logic chart, tree chart, or matrix).

• Language: Select the language for your generated mind map.
